FIRST TEAM F/Wing: Paige Royal, Sr., Levelland -- She averaged 12.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 2.3 assists a game. She helped the Loboettes reach the Class 4A regional semifinals. F: Braylyn Dollar, Sr., Monterey – The District 4-5A Defensive MVP averaged 13.8 points and 8.9 rebounds a game. Dollar signed to play basketball at West Texas A&M. G: Payton Brown, Sr., Roosevelt – The District 2-3A MVP helped lead the Lady Eagles to the regional tournament. She averaged 14.4 points, eight rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game. G: Cassandra Awatt, Jr., Frenship – The co-District 2-6A Defensive MVP, who tallied 11 double-doubles and a triple-double this season, set school records for steals in a season (170) and rebounds in a season (342). She averaged 14.1 points, nine rebounds, 4.5 steals and 2.5 assists a game. G: Jacey Hise, Sr., Lubbock-Cooper – She averaged 14.4 point a game and shot 40 percent from the three-point line and 50 percent from the free-throw for the Lady Pirates. Hise was named the District 4-5A MVP. Off the bench: G: Cassidy Esmerado, Sr., Denver City – The District 2-4A first teamer averaged 11 points and led the Fillies in assists with 149 in 37 total games played. She helped Denver City advance to its inagraul state tournament. G: Lauren Catherman, Soph., Trinity Christian – The underclassmen broke the Lady Lions scoring record twice with 43 and 41 points in a single game. The TAPPs District 1-4A MVP averaged 21.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 5.2 steals a game. G: Cailyn Breckel, Sr., Shallowater – The Wayland Baptist signee averaged 16.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.6 steals. She was named the District 2-3A Defensive MVP. SECOND TEAM G: Shailey Miller, Sr., Post – The District 4-2A Offensive MVP averaged 15.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.1 steals a game. The senior co-captain help lead the Lady Lopes to their first playoff win since 1970. G: Shaylee Stovall, Soph., Idalou – She averaged 19.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 steals a game. Stovall was named the co-Offensive District 2-3A MVP. G: Ashlyn Shelley, Jr., Idalou – She averaged 16.8 points, 4.9 assists and 3.8 rebounds a game. Shelley was named the co-Offensive District 2-3A MVP. F: Caycee Holson, Sr., Sundown – The District 5-2A MVP averaged 14.4 points, eight rebounds and 3.1 blocks a game. She recorded a triple-double (18 points, 12 rebounds, 10 blocks) versus Christoval. F: Makayla Escue, Jr., Levelland – The District 2-4A first teamer averaged 10 points and six rebounds a game. She was named to the Ponder, Levelland and Caprock all-tournament teams. Off the bench: G: Miranda Villegas, Jr., Levelland – The three-time District 2-4A Defensvie MVP averaged 13.5 points, three steals, 4.5 deflections and 2.3 assists a game. She was selected to play in the Texas Girls Coaches Association All Star Game. G: Kristan Rincon, Sr., Plainview -- The District 3-5A first teamer averaged 10.2 points, 4.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 2.2 steals a game. She helped lead the Lady Bulldogs to the regional quarterfinals, where they fell to state champion Amarillo. G: Maci Maddox, Soph., Frenship – The District 2-6A first teamer set school records for the most steals in a game (11) and assists in a season (191). She averaged 8.7 points, 3.7 steals and 5.1 assists a game.
