LEVELLAND – The Matadors rallied last to take a District 2-4A road win Friday.

Estacado utilized a three-run sixth inning and added another in the seventh and got support from Johnny Gomez toward a complete game performance.

All three runs in the sixth came with two outs on back-to-back hits by nine-hole hitter Alex Banda, Drue Gomez and Donte Hernandez.

Johnny Gomez fanned seven Levelland batters while allowing seven hits and a walk. Jorge Mendieaz also went the distance for the Lobos in a loss, allowing 12 hits and a walk. He struck out seven.

Estacado (15-12, 5-2) will host Brownfield at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Levelland (14-14, 4-3) simultaneously travels to Denver City.
